Strijkkwartet III (2021) is a slow study where noise-like sounds act as the main material. Small noisy details are used to colour the string pitches and the silences in between, hence creating a development in an otherwise formless whole. This piece forms the third part of a cycle of string quartets, which are closely related but individual pieces.
